The word “Investment” is defined as
“the investing of money or capital in order to
gain profitable returns, as interest, income, or appreciation in value.” (Link: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/investment)
Last week in Inquiry, our class had
a discussion about how Innovation, Investment and Motivation are all key words
in the Inquiry course. Some students
argued that Investment is more important than Innovation and Motivation. I feel that if I invest a great deal of time
and money into a goal, I believe that I will try to work harder at the goal. The
investment of time and money will then create motivation for me to do a better
job or work harder on the goal. I think
that innovation, investment and motivation are all related, but investment
seems to be a reason to be better motivated to do something.
