Agency Means...

When searched on Google, the word “agency” and the definition was, “a business or organization established to provide a particular service, typically one that involves organizing transactions between two other parties.  Such as an "an advertising agency".”  I also searched using the “Free Online Dictionary” (Link: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/agency) and I found the following as the definition:

1. The condition of being in action; operation.

2. The means or mode of acting; instrumentality.

3. A business or service authorized to act for others: an employment agency.

4. An administrative division of a government or international body.

I can relate to this week’s vocabulary word because when I earn a Bachelor’s Communication from Southern, I want to work for an advertisement agency.

I look forward to working for an agency so that I can be instrumental in getting a product or service complete.  I will be doing business on behalf of a customer and look forward to having a relationship with them.  I will help them by accomplishing their goals and requests.  This vocabulary word also relates to this weeks readings.  It is related to power, initiative  power, and action.
